Request for Web Filter Exclusion Settings

LoiLoNote School is a cloud service.

Without exclusion settings, communication will fail frequently, file uploads will fail, and the system will not work properly.

Please make the following settings

For more information on filter settings, please contact your network maintenance provider or filter supplier.

For i-FILTER@Cloud users

Please configure communications to all loilo.tv and loilonote.app subdomains to flow directly to the Internet and not through the Proxy.

For ALSI InterSafe GatewayConnection users

Please configure communications to all loilo.tv and loilonote.app subdomains to flow directly to the Internet and not through the Proxy.

If you use LoiLo Web Filter

The LoiLo Web Filter does not require exclusion settings.

If you are using SSL decryption function

If you do not set the exclusion, some functions that require real-time control, such as screen delivery and screen lock, will not be available properly.

Function names differ for each web filter product, such as SSL Decoder and SSL Adapter.

Configure exclusion domain settings for "i-FILTER SSL Adapter" (when using i-FILTER)

Register loilo.tv and loilonote.app as SSL decode excluded hosts.

Note:

i-FILTER SSL Adapter has been a standard feature since ver. 9 released in 2014 (paid option for ver. 8 and earlier).

If you are using a product other than i-FILTER

If you are using a product such as "i-FILTER SSL Adapter" which can filter even the content of encrypted HTTPS communication,

Please configure it to exclude LoiLoNote School hosts from its functionality in the same way as described above.

To set up a web content filter using MDM on the iPad

Please add the domains loilo.tv and loilonote.app to the "Allowed URLs".

Mobile Notification Settings

Although it is not mandatory to use mobile notifications, it is useful to be notified of submissions and handouts even when the application is not running.

Each platform has its own settings, so please refer to the following sites to configure your settings.

Questions that occur when no exclusions are set

There are two questions that are frequently reported to us.

Errors in "Send," Submission, and Material Box

Uploads, such as submissions, are communicated using a method called POST. Perhaps the POST filter is malfunctioning and an error is generated.

The error message "reconnecting to the notification server" keeps appearing in the lower right corner of the screen.

Cannot open Shared Note.

If SSL decoded, the WebSocket connection used for notifications will not work. Therefore, the application repeatedly reconnects.

Symptoms may occur only on specific devices due to delivery errors in PAC scripts or other factors.

How to check

1. Connection test (access check)

Please confirm that OK is displayed by displaying the following URL with a Web browser.

2. Connection test (WebSocket)

Please confirm that the operation lock and screen distribution can be performed normally from the LoiLoNote School application. 3.

3. Check if the SSL certificate is issued by LoiLo

Please confirm that the certificate is issued by loilonote.app and issued by Amazon.

If the certificate is not issued by us but by a web filter product, SSL decoding is still being performed on the communication path for communication monitoring. Please recheck your settings.

In case of iOS, you can check the certificate by using this app, please check if the certificate is issued by LoiLo as in the case of Chrome.
